The Superior Academy of Police Studies is the institution responsible for training higher rank police officers that will lead the Investigative Police of Chile in its medium and higher level of management.

This Academy was created pursuant to Superior Decree N° 89 on March 5th 1979 and today, facing the XXI century, it is ready to cope with the challenges embodied in the new modernization plan of the Investigative Police of Chile, providing training to male and female police officers, who will lead a sound and strong institution committed to the development of Chile, open to citizens and connected to new technologies and willing to serve through the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness.

The Superior Academy of Police Studies, knowing the need of being adapted to the new requirements of a more connected and international world, presents this web site, which main goal is allowing our staff and the whole society to know its main tasks and activities, as well as implementing an innovating support tool in its educational role integrating the Police Education Department into this Virtual Campus.
